Thank you to everyone that came out for our benefit for Nepal. We were able to raise $360 for RESTORATION KHOKANA. That money is going directly into rebuilding in the village of Khokana where 80% of the houses were rendered unlivable. We learned that many organizations such as The Red Cross, only send a small percentage of the money they raise to Khokana. We also learned that the dome housing being provided can only be used in short term. Because of this, Prasha Maharjan and her husband set up Restoration Khokana in the wake of the devastation to create more longterm and sustainable solutions. So far they have raised over $6,000 and hope to reach their goal of $25,000. 100% of this money goes directly into rebuilding Khokana.
